In the field of environmental technology, the JFE Group integrates waste treatment adroit, thereby turning waste into an important resource through gasification. With the JFE High- temperature Gasifying and Direct Melting Furnace System, the company offers one of the most advanced systems for the conversion of waste to energy (WtE). During the process of gasification, the facility gasifies waste and melts it at a high temperature in a single step. By the means of this achievement in waste treatment, it is possible to generate power and introduce energy into a district heating network at the same time. Our success in the fields of "energy from waste” (EfW) and "waste gasification” speaks for itself: Sinse 2003, the JFE Group has build ten facilities based on the JFE High- temperature gasifying and Direct Melting System.
